West Spreydon School were recently gifted the name 'Te Ara Koropiko' by Ngāi Tahu, which refers to the stream that runs behind the school grounds. The school has a strong connection and history with the local area and community, and wanted to retain aspects of their previous branding to reflect this while incorporating a visual representation of 'Te Ara Koropiko'. They needed a suite of logos that could adapt to an array of applications. A complementary kowhaiwhai pattern was also created from the logo as a decorative element to use across the school grounds.
Thank you Erin for all your mahi for our kura! We absolutely love what you have come up with. You listened and captured the spirit of what we wanted. It just looks so professional and really completes the new buildings."
